Rajamouli Confirms Varanasi Shoot Wrap Date

Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli’s much-awaited film Varanasi has created strong buzz after the release of its first glimpse.

The film is being made for a global audience and is now nearing the end of its shooting. Rajamouli revealed that around 90 percent of the shoot has been completed with the final portion currently underway.

He expects to complete the entire shoot by the end of this month. The director will then focus on post-production from mid-October or November.

MM Keeravani is expected to begin work on the background score later this month without fail. Varanasi is scheduled to release on April 7th 2027.

Priyanka Chopra plays the female lead while Prithviraj Sukumaran will be seen as the main antagonist.
